Through my early childhood teaching experience, I believe that all children are capable of learning new things. Whether the learning is social/emotional skills, self-regulation, or understanding the world at large, support from childhood professionals makes this learning possible. My teaching experience to date suggest that there is much evidence as to a child’s desire to learn. All children have a sense of purpose, wonder, and a strong desire for affection and acceptance. When children successfully learn a new concept, I believe the child’s mind creates new pathways. These pathways assist the child from the first stages of life and continue to develop throughout their life.
